Privacy policy

Your photos

• The app removes location data (GPS) from your photo on your phone before it is sent.
• Our server removes it again, in case any is left.
• The photo is checked in memory, then thrown away. We never store it. We do not use it to train AI.

Who sees the photo

To suggest a match, our server sends the photo, without location data, to Google's Gemini AI service. Google processes it for us. Our server runs on Cloudflare.

Scan count

The app makes a random device id. It is not your name, email or phone number. We keep it with a count of your scans and whether you have a plan, so we can give you 3 free scans.

Payment

If you buy a plan, you pay on a Stripe page. Stripe gets your card and email. We get your plan status and a Stripe customer id. We never see your card number.

What we do not do

• We do not sell or share your information for ads.
• We do not use tracking or ad tools in the app.
• We do not keep your photos.

Your choices

You can cancel your plan in the app: Settings, then "Manage or cancel my plan". To delete your scan count and plan record, email support@tools.ltd from the app's Help page and we will remove it.

Children

StoneSort is not made for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy in a big way, we will update the date at the top.
